Welcome to the Savoir Rouler club PESR Baie-Mahault
develops travel solutions in my city
To encourage residents to adopt more sustainable modes of travel such as walking, cycling, public transport or carpooling.

Savoir Rouler club PESR Baie-Mahault organizes workshops, activities and events to raise public awareness of mobility issues and encourage them to change their travel habits.

Savoir Rouler club PESR Baie-Mahault works in partnership with the municipality, local businesses, neighborhood associations and educational establishments to develop alternative transport solutions and promote more environmentally friendly mobility.
Through its actions, Savoir Rouler club PESR Baie-Mahault contributes to reducing air pollution, traffic jams and noise pollution in the city, while promoting the health and well-being of residents.

1. Eco-Vélos: This is an eco-friendly bicycle rental service, which allows residents to easily get around the city while reducing their carbon footprint.

2. Learn to Ride: This program aims to teach children the skills needed to ride a bike safely. It is generally offered in primary schools and includes theoretical and practical lessons.

3. Getting back on the saddle: This program is aimed at adults who wish to get back on the bike after a period of inactivity. It offers courses to familiarize yourself with cycling and regain self-confidence on the road.
4. New Cycle: This is a learning to cycle program aimed at children in precarious situations. It allows them to benefit from access to bicycles and to receive training to travel safely.

5. Let's Talk Cycling: This initiative aims to encourage dialogue between road users (cyclists, motorists, pedestrians) in order to promote mutual respect and harmonious cohabitation on the roads.
6. Pro-Vélo Employer: This system encourages companies to encourage the use of bicycles as a means of transport for their employees. It may include financial incentives, secure bicycle parking facilities, etc.
7. BMX School Guadeloupe: It is a BMX school which offers cycling lessons for children and young people. In addition to providing fun physical activity, it also teaches road safety rules.

Group course for 17 to 24 participants:
I have mastered the fundamentals of cycling.
I also practice traffic skills by respecting safety rules and learning to anticipate dangers. I am supervised by an instructor who gives me advice and tips to improve my cycling. During this group course, I will also learn how to properly maintain my bike, to check the brakes, tires and various parts in order to ensure my safety and that of other road users.
Finally, I will also be made aware of the risks associated with cycling, such as falls, collisions, bad weather conditions, and I will learn how to avoid them and react in the event of difficulties.
This group course for 2 to 8 participants will allow me to improve my cycling skills, gain confidence and move safely on the road.
Knowing how to move around BLOCK 2
Group lessons for 9 to 16 participants:
I am discovering mobility by bike in a secure environment.
To communicate and obtain information with other users, it is important to use clear signals and gestures when you want to change direction. For example, extending your right arm to indicate a right turn or raising your left arm to indicate a left turn.
It is also essential to remain attentive to your surroundings and to inform yourself about the rules of cycling. This can be done by consulting the highway code specific to cyclists or by participating in training offered by associations or specialized organizations.
When sharing the road with other users, it is important to respect priority rules and adopt predictable behavior. For example, by respecting traffic lights and avoiding unpredictable zigzags.
To memorize information related to cycling in your neighborhood, it can be useful to take notes or create mental maps to organize your knowledge. It's also beneficial to chat with other local cyclists to share tips and tricks specific to your neighborhood.
Finally, to diversify your practice of mobility by bicycle, you can consider exploring new routes or participating in local cycling events. This will allow you to discover new routes and meet other cycling enthusiasts.

I travel in a real situation:
The Baie-Mahault PESR offers complete training to learn to ride independently. At the beginning, you will learn the basic regulations to ensure your safety during your bike rides. You will also be introduced to the essential safety concepts for practicing club cycling.
Then, you will develop your bike riding skills and techniques. You will learn to master your balance, make turns safely, brake effectively and navigate different types of terrain.
You will also be taught the history of the group hiking environment. You will discover the different paths, tracks and bike trails available in the region. You will learn how to find your way and choose the best route for your hike.
In short, the Baie-Mahault PESR will allow you to acquire all the skills necessary to drive independently in complete safety. You will be ready to explore the roads and paths by bike, whether alone or in a group.
1. Establish an action plan: Define the objectives, targets, necessary financial and human resources, as well as the deadlines for the implementation of different actions.
2. Create an information platform: Set up a website or a mobile application dedicated to soft mobility in my city. This platform should provide information on the different soft travel alternatives available (cycling, walking, public transport, etc.) as well as recommended routes and practical advice.
3. Improve infrastructure: Ensure that existing infrastructure (cycle paths, sidewalks, public transport, etc.) are well maintained, secure and accessible for soft mobility users. If necessary, provide additional arrangements to encourage gentle travel.
4. Organize events and activities: Organize soft mobility awareness days, bike rides or walks in different areas of the city. These events will promote the use of sustainable modes of travel, create social connections and attract new members to my association.
5. Establish partnerships: Collaborate with local associations, businesses and institutions to organize joint projects aimed at promoting soft mobility. For example, I could create a partnership with a bicycle dealership to offer preferential rates to members of my association.
6. Communicate widely: Use social networks, local newspapers, public displays, etc. to publicize the actions implemented and raise awareness among the general public about soft mobility. I could also organize conferences or workshops on the subject, inviting experts in the field.
7. Evaluate and adjust: Regularly carry out evaluations of the soft mobility offer in my city, in order to measure the impact of the actions implemented and identify possible improvements to be made.

To attract new members to my association and introduce different practice areas, I could: Organize open days: Offer free or reduced-rate activities to encourage people to join my association and discover the different practice areas available in my city.
